Amazon Prime Video has extended its global multi-year rights deal with the Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA), securing exclusive national streaming rights for 21 WNBA games each season, which includes the Championship Game of the WNBA Commissioner’s Cup and 20 regular season games. The international deal, which is set to run for two years until 2025, excludes China, Japan, the UK, Italy, Spain, Finland, and Germany. Initially, Prime Video obtained streaming rights for 16 WNBA games per season in 2021, which increased to 17 games in 2022.
