Abema, a Japanese streaming platform, has secured a sublicensing deal with SPOTV Now to telecast 114 live English Premier League matches. Their coverage focuses on games featuring prominent Premier League teams, especially those involving Japanese players.
Over-the-top (OTT) media provider AbemaTV has secured streaming rights for the 2021 Copa América competition in Japan. All 28 games will be shown on the platform via its dedicated sports channel, Abema SPORTS. Subscribers will be able to follow the tournament on a host of devices, including via computer, smart TV, mobile (Android or iOS), or tablet.
