Amazon Prime Video has acquired exclusive rights to broadcast the 2024 Copa America in Japan, marking its first major soccer deal in the country. From June 20 to July 14, the streaming service is showing all group-stage matches featuring Argentina and Brazil, as well as all knockout matches live. Previously, Prime Video's live sports in Japan included only boxing and baseball. The media rights, managed by Dentsu, allow Japanese Prime Video members to watch the 2024 Copa America live at no additional cost, with matches airing mid-morning Japan time due to the time difference.
