Prime Video has secured the broadcast rights for the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) starting in 2024, under a new multiyear agreement. Fans in the USA and Canada can exclusively stream 27 NWSL matches each season on Prime Video, including a season-opening match, a quarterfinal playoff game and a weekly 'Game of the Week.' The NWSL on Amazon Prime Video may be streamed in the U.S. and Canada on various platforms, including smartphones, tablets, game consoles, and connected TVs.
Amazon Prime Video and Seattle Sounders FC have signed a deal that will make the video streaming service the official regional digital broadcast partner of the Major League Soccer club until the end of the 2022 season. Amazon Prime Video will exclusively stream Seattle Sounders’ matches live, except for those that are broadcast on national television. Coverage of the Sounders’ games on Prime Video will be complemented with match highlights, interviews, and press conferences. The MLS side will also receive a dedicated page on the digital platform to feature club-specific content.
