Football fans in Brazil can watch live Brasileiro Serie A matches on Amazon Prime Video. The over-the-top (OTT) streaming service agreed on a 5-year contract with the Liga Forte União (LFU) to become an official broadcast partner from 2025 to 2029. This deal allows Prime Video subscribers in Brazil to watch 190 live Brasileiro Serie A matches, or 38 each season, all available exclusively on the platform at no additional cost. This contrasts the contract agreed between the LFU, YouTube, and CazéTV, comprising non-exclusive terms. Prime Video, who already holds Copa do Brasil rights, can select one match from an LFU club as the home team each round until 2029. All live Brasileiro Serie A matches on Prime Video are available to stream on Android, iOS, Amazon devices, Apple TV and online on computers.
Amazon’s streaming service, Prime Video will broadcast 36 games from the 2022 Copa do Brazil. As part of the arrangement, 30 of these games are exclusive to Prime Video, which covers the first leg all the way to the quarter-finals while six, which spans the semi-finals and final, will be shared with other providers.
