Pay-TV broadcaster BeIN Sports has acquired media rights for the French Ligue 1 in Canada, until 2024. Several live matches will be aired live and as full replays on TV every week, whereas OTT platform beIN Sports Connect will also carry multiple live online streams and Ligue 1 matches on demand. Coverage of all the matches will be in high definition and in English language, with subscribers having the option to follow the action on their mobile phones, tablets, PCs or smart TVs.
beIN Sports has secured exclusive broadcast rights for the Spanish La Liga until 2024. TV networks beIN Sports Canada and beIN SPORTS en Español will combine to provide English- and Spanish-language coverage of the games, whereas OTT service beIN Sports Connect will stream all the matches online on its web platform and mobile apps for Android and iOS. In addition to live La Liga games, beIN Sports will also be featuring original programming, including magazine shows, previews and match analysis.
