CBS Sports has expanded its coverage of the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) by adding 22 additional regular season matches to be streamed on Paramount+ and CBS Sports Golazo Network. This extension of coverage is part of an agreement with the NWSL that was established in November 2023. Under this agreement, CBS Sports is set to broadcast up to 12 matches each season on its main network, including several postseason matches and the Championship match, with up to 10 more matches shown on the CBS Sports Network each year.
Additionally, CBS Sports is providing extensive NWSL coverage through its dedicated women’s soccer show "ATTACKING THIRD," along with other programs like "MORNING FOOTY," "BOX 2 BOX," and "SCORELINE." These programs are part of CBS Sports' efforts to cover a wide range of aspects of women's soccer, including digital content on CBSSports.com, the Golazo Starting XI newsletter, and social media through the @AttackingThird accounts.
The 24-hour soccer channel CBS Sports Golazo Network also supports this coverage. This means that fans in the USA can watch the NWSL live at no additional cost on several platforms, including connected TVs and mobile devices through the CBS Sports App, as well as on Pluto TV, The Roku Channel, LocalNow, and CBSSports.com, in addition to Paramount+.
CBS Sports has secured exclusive broadcast rights for England's Women Super League matches until the end of the 2023/24 campaign after signing a two-year deal. This arrangement begins at the start of the 2022/23 season, and features matches shown both on CBS Sports Network as well as on Paramount+. A total of 57 matches will be broadcast during the 2022/23 and 2023/24 terms, with CBS Sports Network covering some games and the majority being featured on Paramount+.
CBS Sports has secured a broadcast deal to provide comprehensive coverage of the UEFA European Under-21 Championship. Fans can enjoy live match broadcasts of all 31 games on CBS Sports Golazo Network and CBS Sports Network. The partnership ensures that viewers have access to the tournament's matches from the group stage onwards, including key fixtures. Additionally, CBS Sports Golazo Network offers a convenient streaming option, allowing fans to watch the majority of the games for free via the CBS Sports website.
CBS and the National Women’s Soccer League have agreed a broadcast deal in USA for the 2022 NWSL Challenge Cup. CBS and CBS Sports Network will televise live 2022 NWSL Challenge Cup games, whilst OTT service Paramount+ will stream the matches.
CBS Television Network and CBS Sports Network will combine to show live NWSL games. OTT streaming service Paramount+ will provide live exclusive streams as well.
