Globo has agreed on a three-year deal with the women’s Campeonato Brasileiro. Each season, Globo will show 40 games from the Brasileiro Feminino. As part of the agreement, the finals stage will be shown on Globo’s free-to-air channel from the second season onwards.

Brazilian broadcaster Globo has secured the rights to show all friendlies from the female Brazilian national team prior to the 2023 Women’s World Cup. Free-to-air channel TV Globo will air six games, whereas pay-television network SporTV will broadcast 12 of the friendlies.
Grupo Globo-owned SporTV has obtained Brazilian pay-TV rights for the 2022 World Cup. Flagship channel SporTV, along with linear networks SporTV 2 and SporTV 3, are set to combine to bring viewers all 64 matches of the 2022 World Cup live. This comes on top of auxiliary programming, such as match highlights, analysis, previews and reports. Matches may be available to stream live on the premium Globoplay+ package. Furthermore, SporTV’s coverage may be accessible via subscription partner platforms to paying customers—namely DirecTV Go, Vivo Play, Oi Play and Claro TV+. The 2022 World Cup on Globo’s platforms is reportedly set to air in 4K UHD quality.
