Mediapro has secured the rights to LaLiga’s women’s top division, the Primera División de la Liga de Fútbol Femenino, until the end of the 2021-22 season. The extension deal worth 9m Euros was struck with the Association of Women’s Football Clubs (ACFF). Live women’s Liga games are expected to be aired live on free-to-air television throughout the period of the agreement in Spain.
Gol has acquired the rights to broadcast the Italian Serie A in Spain. Coverage will focus on Juventus' matches due to the popularity of Cristiano Ronaldo in Spain.
