UK broadcaster ITV has secured free-to-air FA Cup rights from 2021 to 2025. The deal will allow ITV networks to show live FA Cup games in the UK from the competition’s first round all the way to the final. ITV will air over 20 matches each season, and it will hold second and third picks privileges over partner broadcaster, the BBC, for the First, Third and Fifth Rounds; first and fourth picks for Second Round, Fourth Round and the Quarterfinals. ITV will also benefit from second pick of the FA Cup semis.
ITV has secured free-to-air UK rights to the Spanish La Liga in a three-year deal that runs through 2025. ITV’s linear television networks and its streaming service ITV Hub will combine to broadcast 10 live La Liga matches every season. The deal grants ITV the opportunity to focus on matches featuring Spain’s biggest clubs, including FC Barcelona, Real Madrid, and Atlético Madrid. The games aired live on ITV will also be accessible through Premier Sports and LaLigaTV in the UK.

British free-to-air television network ITV has secured the rights to show highlights of the English Championship from the 2022/23 season through 2024. The two-year deal includes a summary of the action on matchdays during weekends, aired as a premiere broadcast, and available on repeat.
ITV has acquired the rights to show English League One highlights from 2022/23 through 2024, following an agreement with the EFL. Highlights are set to cover both weekend and midweek fixtures and will be aired on television, as well as online and on mobile devices via ITV Hub.

Under the network’s agreement with the EFL, ITV channels are eligible to show the summary of goals on every matchday on television. Carabao Cup highlights have been slotted on ITV in the UK from the 2022/23 season, for two seasons. Match highlights for each round of the competition, along with the semis and final have been secured by the network. Streaming platform ITV Hub has also been granted the right to show every highlight program for a period of 30 days after the first transmission on a catch-up basis.
ITV has acquired the rights to show highlights from the EFL Trophy in the UK, starting from the 2022/23 season. During the period of the two-year deal, ITV4 will air a one-hour program of highlights from the EFL Trophy Final. The program is expected to be available on catch-up for 30 days after its first transmission on streaming platform ITV Hub.
ITV has secured the rights to broadcast select Italian Serie A matches live in the UK through the end of the 2023-24 season. This agreement includes one match every Saturday at 7:45 pm GMT on ITV's ITVX streaming service starting in April 2024. Currently, Serie A rights in the UK are held by TNT Sports until the end of the 2023-24 season. It has been confirmed that the Italian Serie A will shift towards direct negotiations for international broadcasting rights starting next season (2024-2025), moving away from the current model managed by the sports agency Infront, whose contract expires at the end of the 2023-24 season.
Free-to-air broadcaster ITV has secured UK rights to the 2022 World Cup, following a broadcast deal that involves the BBC. ITV’s package includes 24 group stage matches, as well as first and second picks for the Round of 16 and first pick for the quarterfinals. Streaming service ITVX has all the 2022 World Cup matches telecast on ITV’s linear networks.
