NBC Sports has been the home of Premier League soccer on TV and online in the US since 2013, replacing Fox Sports and ESPN. The coverage is available across NBC platforms including NBC, USA Network, NBCSN, NBC Sports digital and Peacock in English, and Spanish broadcasts available on Telemundo and Universo.
The Premier League and NBCUniversal, via the NBC Sports Group, signed a six-year broadcast deal for Premier League in the United States in 2021. This contract allows NBC to provide exclusive live stream and TV coverage of all 380 Premier League games each season until 2028 in both English and Spanish languages.
For live streaming coverage, Peacock is the main provider, streaming just under half of the matches, and many games are streamed on NBC Sports or USA Network. Matches that stream live on Peacock and NBC are available for replay on Peacock shortly after the livestream ends. Matches that air live on USA Network are available for replay on Peacock the following day.
NBC's streaming service Peacock is the simplest way to get started and watch Premier League online. You have to sing up to the Premium Plan at 7.99/month, or $79.99/year, which gives you access to about half of the season's games. In order to watch every Premier League match, you will also have to access a provider that carries the USA Network.
NBC will be showing German Frauen Bundesliga matches on its digital platform for the first time after signing a one year deal with women's football media company Ata Football. The agreement, will see NBC carry 34 Frauen Bundesliga matches over the course of the 2021/22 campaign.
NBC Sports will provide coverage of 57 Women’s Soccer League (WSL) matches over the course of the 2021/22 season for fans based in the United States. This deal, which was secured with the English FA via Atalanta Media, will see NBC cover the WSL with two games shown directly on NBC while the other 55 matches will be distributed among NBCSN, CNBC, NBCSports.com and the NBC Sports app.
NBC Sports has acquired multi-platform rights, making it the exclusive EPL broadcaster in USA. Both live and repeat coverage will be available on its family of TV channels. The majority of Premier League games on television will be aired on NBCSN, with other matches allocated to flagship network NBC and also CNBC—all in English language. The rest of the games will be brought to viewers by NBC Sports online and mobile apps, live and on demand. Some key fixtures may be overflown to NBC's entertainment channels when no slots are available on its sports-dedicated networks—for example, on the last match day when all games are usually played simultaneously. Throughout the Premier League season, Spanish-language coverage will be provided by Telemundo, Universo and their respective streaming services. Game highlights, previews, post-match analysis and magazine shows will be produced by NBC Sports as well to complement their full match coverage.
NBC Sports will show a minimum of 50 FA Women’s Soccer League matches during the 2020-21 season in USA, following a multi-platform deal with the English FA facilitated by women’s football company Atalanta Media. The WSL on NBC Sports will be aired on television by NBC Sports Network, as well as online via the NBC Sports app and NBCSports.com. While some matches will be available exclusively for streaming, fans in USA can expect to watch more than a dozen games on TV on NBCSN.
