Canal RCN is broadcasting up to six matches of the 2024 Copa America, similar to Caracol TV, in Colombia. RCN’s matches include three group stage matches featuring Colombia, a semi-final, and the final if Colombia progresses that far. The limited free-to-air 2024 Copa America coverage results from the high cost and exclusivity of broadcasting rights, predominantly controlled by DSports (DirecTV), which affects the availability of matches on RCN.
Win Sports owns pay-TV rights to broadcast eight matches of the 2024 Copa America in Colombia. The TV schedule for the network includes seven group stage matches and one quarter-final. Win Sports has negotiated with DSports to secure these rights, providing additional access to important matches, including those of the Colombian national team.
RCN is airing live World Cup 2022 matches in Colombia with Caracol TV. Both networks share 32 live matches, and RCN is providing match highlights and auxiliary shows. The Deportes RCN mobile apps are also streaming the World Cup.
RCN will be broadcasting the 2021 Copa América tournament to subscribers in Colombia, and will share coverage with Win Sports of the event. In addition to extensive coverage of matches, viewers will also be able to access bonus content, including game highlights, post match analysis, and more.
