Commercial broadcaster S4C has acquired exclusive UK free-to-air rights to the Welsh national team’s matches in the UEFA Nations League. The two-year deal runs from 2022 to 2024 and includes all of the Welsh team’s matches in the competition live.
Free-to-air public broadcast TV network S4C has acquired Welsh-language rights to the 2022 World Cup. S4C’s coverage is limited to live matches involving the Wales team in Qatar and is expected to be carried out both on television and online. This comes as part of S4C’s effort to become Wales’ official national football broadcaster from 2022 to 2024.
