Sky New Zealand has acquired English Premier League media rights in a six-year deal starting in 2022 and running through 2028. The pay-tv broadcaster will air all 380 Premier League games in high definition on its platforms, which include streaming service Sky Go. Sky won the rights back from Spark Sport in New Zealand after losing them in 2019.
New Zealand paid-TV network Sky has maintained its exclusive broadcast rights to Australia's A-League. This deal commences at the start of the 2021/22 campaign and runs through 2023. As part of this arrangement, matches will be shown both on Sky's paid-TV channels as well as its streaming platforms, while a handful of fixtures will be shown free-to-air.

As part of this arrangement, matches will be shown on both Sky's family of paid-TV channels as well as its corresponding streaming platforms. In addition, some matches will be shown free-to-air and carried on various channels, including Sky's Prime channel.
Sky has secured exclusive multi-platform rights to the UEFA Champions League in New Zealand. The pay-TV broadcaster will air 138 matches on TV and online. Broadcasts will also be available as high quality streams through Sky GO, the network’s official mobile app for Android and iOS devices. The subscription-based video streaming service may provide the games on-demand as well.
