German broadcaster Sport1 has acquired the rights to the AFC Champions League in a two-year deal that will span across 2021 and 2022. Pay-television network Sport1+ will show the matches live in Austria, Germany, and Switzerland, whereas free-to-air channel Sport1 is expected to have select AFC Champions League games and highlights.
SPORT1 + subscribers in Germany will be able to watch the French Ligue 1 live online, on their PC, smartphone or tablet. The Ligue 1 streams from SPORT1 + may be accessible from Austria as well.
