Sportdigital Fussball has secured a multi-year partnership deal with the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) to become the broadcaster of AFC competitions in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland from 2021 to 2024. Sportdigital will show live matches from the AFC U23 Asian Cup in 2022 and 2024 on various platforms, including its digital service. The deal’s package includes over 150 live AFC matches every season and features other AFC youth tournaments.
Sportdigital FUSSBALL has secured exclusive broadcasting rights for the Copa America 2024 in Germany and Switzerland, with partial coverage in Austria. This means that subscribers in Germany, Switzerland, and parts of Austria can watch all Copa America matches live through the new Sportdigital+ app, available for €4.99 per month, on iOS and Android devices. The app also features replays of night matches the following day. Additionally, selected matches may be streamed on the Sportdigital FUSSBALL website. The network’s Copa America 2024 broadcasts include German commentary and expert analysis from various guests. Coverage also comprises football-related magazines and documentaries, as well as weekly highlight shows like "scooore!" and "Life is a Pitch."
Sportdigital has obtained the broadcast rights for the CONCACAF Gold Cup 2023. The German TV and internet platform is showing all 31 matches of the tournament live across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
Sportdigital has acquired the TV and internet streaming rights for Portugal's Primeira Liga in Germany. The deal coverage includes up to three live matches per match-week as well as a weekly highlights program and video highlights. The three-year deal commences with the 2020-21 season and expires at the end of the 2022-23 season.
Paid TV and internet braodcaster Sportdigital Fussball has acquired non-exclusive broadcast rights to the AFCON tournament for viewers based in Germany, in addition to Austria and Switzerland. Sportdigital Fussball shares coverage with digital soccer platform OneFootball to cover all 52 matches, and Sportdigital Fussball broadcasts games on its family of paid-TV channels.
