This deal sees the sub-Saharan broadcaster continue to broadcast live matches in South Africa from English football's top flight through the conclusion of the 2024/2025 campaign. SuperSport continues to provide coverage of all 380 matches each season on its paid-TV and digital platforms.
African pay-television broadcaster SuperSport has extended its sub-Saharan media rights for the Spanish La Liga in a four-year deal that will run through 2024. SuperSport will air live La Liga matches on its linear channels and digital platforms in both English and local languages.
SuperSport owns the non-exclusive multi-platform broadcasting rights for the UEFA Nations League 2018-19 and 2020-21 editions. The deal also includes the qualifying matches leading up to the 2020 Euro Cup.

The Multichoice-owned pay-TV operator will show all 380 matches, all of which will be available to DStv and GOtv subscribers. As this is a multi-platform broadcast deal, OTT service DStv Now will additionally stream all the games live online and on its mobile app for Android and iOS tablets and mobile phones. The matches will be aired live and as repeat broadcasts on Supersport’s various HD networks. Subscribers will also get access to edited game highlights, previews, match analysis and more. DStv subscribers may be granted access to stream Champions League matches live via Supersport’s official mobile app for Android and iOS, or on DStv’s official over-the-top (OTT) service, DStv Now, which also comes with its own streaming apps.
