Public-service broadcaster SVT has obtained Swedish rights to the FIFA World Cup 2026. SVT will cover the tournament live on TV and online in partnership with commercial broadcaster TV4.
State broadcaster SVT has secured Swedish rights to the 2022 World Cup. SVT has opted to air live World Cup matches on its linear channels SVT 1 and SVT 2 and the multi-platform streaming service SVT Play. The line-up of fixtures on SVT includes half of the knockout phase and the Third Place match.
