Commercial broadcaster TV4 has acquired Swedish rights to the FIFA World Cup 2026 tournament. The Telia-owned network will cover men’s football’s biggest competition along with public-service partner SVT. Live FIFA World Cup 2026 matches are expected to be telecast and streamed live in HD in Sweden on TV4’s TV and digital platforms. TV4’s World Cup coverage is expected to include match highlights and auxiliary programming.
TV4 Media has secured the rights to broadcast La Liga matches in Sweden and Finland. The network may showcase the Spanish football league until the conclusion of the 2025-26 season. This deal includes La Liga match highlights and more, on television and online. In adhering to the agreement, TV4 Media's platforms, including C More, are slated to air live La Liga matches every week, offering comprehensive coverage of the league's fixtures over the specified period.
TV4 will show live UEFA Champions League matches in Sweden from 2021 to 2024. The network will cover the matches along with its partner broadcaster, C More.
Telia Company has secured exclusive UEFA Champions League rights in Sweden for the 2021-2024 cycle, following a deal reported to be worth $100 million annually. Coverage of live Champions League matches in Sweden will be carried out by free-to-air network TV4 and pay-television broadcaster C More – both of which also operate live streaming services. Telia outbid pan-Nordic media company NENT Group, who had until then been the only broadcaster to hold the rights to the competition since 1992.
